It will moisturise and plump your skin to keep it youthful and well nourished. A soothing and protective dressing for irritations of the skin and scalp. Healthy skin is beautiful skin. 

Made with native Scottish herbs and berry oils; organic sea buckthorn, elderberry, raspberry blended to a light creamy finish. Packed in a pretty travel box with paper straw and rose petals.

DIRECTIONS
Take a small amount and allow it to soften on your fingertips. Massage it into your skin. You can use this on your face even where the skin is soft and tender, or your body – whether dry elbows, cracked cuticles, stretch marks or sunburn. You can use this on your bottom if you’re very, very young, or on scaly sun spots if you’re very, very old.

CARING FOR YOUR CREAM 

As our Amazing Vanishing Cream is entirely free of synthetic ingredients to bind and stabilise it, it can be sensitive to fluctuations in temperature. If your cream ever feels a little grainy hold your hand over the skin that you've applied it to for a few seconds - the heat of your hand will melt the tiny cocoa butter grains that sometimes form. Also, please don't leave your cream next to a radiator as it may melt. If it does, just move it to a cooler spot.

CAUTIONS
None known. Avoid getting in your eyes. If you do get it in your eyes, flush eyes with plenty of cold water. Plant extracts cause few side effects however if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and you are unsure if you need to take extra care, please speak to us, or your healthcare practitioner, before using this product.

STORAGE
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

PACKAGING
Jars: These are environmentally sustainable Cosmetic Glass Jars, as they are fully recyclable, and are manufactured using 40% recycled content from external sources. 

Lids: The lid is made from Polypropylene. PP can be recycled. However, you will need to check with your Local Authority to ensure it is recycled in your area. Polypropylene can be recycled into brooms, brushes, garden rakes and plastic trays. Recycling code: 5.

Once thought to be lost to history, Duncan Napiers Amazing Vanishing Cream is once again available, made up almost entirely from the native species of herbs and berries gathered by Duncan and his sons.

Wild roses, elderberries, raspberries and wild currant grow in the hills around Edinburgh, cranberries on the mountains of Glen Coe and sea buckthorn beside the cool North Sea coast. These provide an incredible array of antioxidant, vitamin boosting properties that impart radiance and luminescence to the skin. Intrinsic, via these fruit oils, Napiers Amazing Vanishing Cream naturally contains vital vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D and E, Omega 7, Omega 9, over 22 fatty acids, 42 lipids and 36 different flavonoids to enrich the skin.

There are also Duncan’s three favourite, stalwart herbs; borage, calendula and comfrey. These three herbs are key to helping the skin repair damage and hide marks, scars and the signs of wear and tear. Borage seed oil reduces inflammation and plumps up dry, itchy skin with essential fatty acids. Calendula, high in antioxidants and polycarbohydrates, speeds the rate of skin cell renewal, irons out dry, flaky patches and calms redness. Comfrey which stimulates collagen production and strengthens the connective tissue under the skin, keeps it plump and wrinkle-free. Comfrey also helps to repair torn tendon, muscle and, known as ‘knitbone’, was so highly regarded it was used to set broken bones and make them heal quickly.

In the original formula Duncan used spermaceti – a special wax that came from the head of a whale and was often washed up on the shores of our native Scotland. But, that was then and this is now. We substituted that ingredient with organic jojoba, an wax that is virtually identical and mimics natural skin sebum, but from vegetable sources. We also used cocoa butter instead of beeswax. This gives the same creamy texture but ensures that the precious whales, bees and our vegan friends like it too.
