Psyllium & Slippery Elm Powder

A herbal food supplement traditionally used to support the gastrointestinal tract.

A herbal food supplement containing psyllium husks to support healthy bowels and elimination and powdered slippery elm bark to support healthy digestion and stomach acidity.

INGREDIENTS
Made from pure powders of: 
Plantago ovata (Psyllium Husks) 50%
Ulmus fulva (Slippery Elm Bark) 50%

DIRECTIONS
Take 1 teaspoon at bedtime, or as directed.  Mix 1 teaspoon into a paste with a little cold water, add hot milk or water to make 1 cupful, and flavour to taste.

Drink a full glass of water afterwards. Take this supplement at least 1 hour away from any medication.

Not all herbs are suitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, have health concerns or an ongoing illness. If in doubt, please ask us, your medical herbalist or healthcare practitioner. If you are taking any medication, please speak to your healthcare practitioner before using this product. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if adverse reactions occur. This product should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or lifestyle. 

If you are over 60 years of age, giving this to a child under 6 years old, or you are unsure if this product is suitable, please speak to us, or your healthcare practitioner, before using this product. Similar products have occasionally caused stomach discomfort or bloating. Ensure you always take with a full 250ml glass of water. However, if a side effect is experienced please let us know. Take this supplement at least 1 hour away from any medication.

STORAGE
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

PACKAGING
Pouches: Packaged in a biodegradable stand-up resealable pouch. Made with 45% - 60% renewable wood pulp starch. When placed into a composting environment the pouches will biodegrade to compost within 3 months.
