A skin cream specifically designed for menopausal and post menopausal women who want the additional support of herbs for balance and well being. Menopause is not a medical condition, but a natural phase in a woman's life and herbs have been used for centuries to support them.

Contains the herbs Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa) and Marigold (Calendula officinalis).

DIRECTIONS
As a face cream: Apply as a normal face cream on dry areas at morning and at night.

As a body cream: Apply two to three times a day but keep applying consistently, once started. Rub into soft skin areas (inner thighs, inner arms, stomach, under breasts) and alternate the area applied to.

Contains: Aqua, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, dioscorea villosa (wild yam) extract, calendula officinalis (marigold) flower extract, butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter*, glycerin, coco-glucoside and coconut alcohol, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter*, glyceryl stearate, cera alba (beeswax)*, sucrose stearate, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil*, linum usitatissimum (flax) seed oil*, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice powder*, phenoxyethanol, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, lactic acid, tocopherol (vitamin e), benzyl alcohol. * Certified organic ingredients

CAUTIONS
None known. Avoid getting in your eyes. If you do get it in your eyes, flush eyes with plenty of cold water. Plant extracts cause few side effects however if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and you are unsure if you need to take extra care, please speak to us, or your healthcare practitioner, before using this product.

STORAGE
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

PACKAGING
Jars: The 60ml jars are made from environmentally sustainable Cosmetic Glass, as they are fully recyclable, and are manufactured using 40% recycled content from external sources.

Lids: The lid is made from Polypropylene. PP can be recycled. However, you will need to check with your Local Authority to ensure it is recycled in your area. Polypropylene can be recycled into brooms, brushes, garden rakes and plastic trays. Recycling code: 5.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Wild Yam can have beneficial effects on menopausal symptoms of the skin, especially those that affect the skin, such as reddening, flashing, thinning skin, brown spots, and exceptionally dry skin, especially vaginal dryness.

Did you know? Wild Yam contains steroidal saponins, including diosgenin (a naturally occurring compound), which is a precursor remarkably similar to our own hormone, progesterone. This is the compound that was synthesised to make the first contraceptive pills in the 1960s.  In fact, wild yam was once the only source of raw materials for the early contraceptive pills. 

Marigold is also included in this cream for its soothing and regenerative effect on thinning skin tissue.
